sumi-e墨絵 /suminagashi 墨流し
I am deeply drawn to the beauty of simplicity and purity in art. The dynamic expressions of brushstrokes, the fleeting yet powerful moments in nature, and the fine nuances found in sumi-e, a traditional Japanese ink painting style, all inspire me to create. My goal is to embody the minimalistic and expressive elements that are central to Japanese aesthetics. By elevating everyday life to an art form and embracing the technique of sumi-e as a way of life and spirituality, I hope to create works that capture the essence of beauty and tranquility.
